Saxaflute Ensemble

Founded in March 2018, Saxaflute is a musical ensemble comprised of primarily flutes and saxophones. This student-based ensemble is led by Andrew Vang and Peter Martin of the Stratus Duo. This sonorous ensemble performs all over Southern California playing a wide variety of music ranging from classical, jazz, contemporary, anime, pop and much more. Their past performances include the Festival of Lights at the Mission Inn in Downtown Riverside on December 2018, and at the Orange County Fair on Summer 2019. As performers, one of the biggest goals of Saxaflute is to create and provide music to the mainstream audience through the use of saxophone and flute, two contrasting instruments with a unique blend of rich and powerful sounds.
